Ways to refer
To make it easy, we offer multiple ways for you to refer your friends and family.
Unique code
Look out for the unique reference number in your handover pack. Pass this on to your friend or relative to give us during their first meeting and we'll know to send you a reward once their project is booked.
Give us their name
Providing you have your friends or family members permission, you can contact us direct with their details.
We will then contact them to arrange a meeting, and if it results in a project, we'll send you a reward.
Tell them to name check you
Leaving the easiest method to last, when your friend of relative books a meeting with us, they can simply provide your name.
Once the project is booked, we'll send you a reward.
Terms & Conditions
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the referral program ("Referral Programme") operated by Hillery & Sons ("we," "us," or "our") and our existing customers (“Referrer” or “you”) and new customers (“Referred Customer”). By participating in the Referral Programme, both the Referrer and the Referred Customer (collectively, "Participants") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Eligibility
2.1 The Referral Programme is open to all Referrers who meet the criteria set out below.
2.2 The Referred Customer must be a new customer who has never used our services before.
2.3 The Referral Programme is void where prohibited by law.
- How the Referral Programme Works
3.1 To participate in the Referral Programme, the Referrer must refer a friend or family member to use our services.
3.2 The Referred Customer must notify us of the reference and the Referrer’s details either before or during the first initial meeting.
3.3 The Referred Customer can only name one Referrer under the scheme.
3.4 Upon successful completion of services by the Referred Customer (detailed in section 4 below), the Referrer will receive one (1) £100 Virgin Experience voucher.
- Conditions for Receiving Vouchers
4.1 Only one voucher will be awarded per individual referral, regardless of the number of services the Referred Customer uses. The Referred Customer must purchase services in excess of £6,000 to qualify. The Referrer can make multiple referrals.
4.2 The Referrer will receive their voucher only once a successful order has been placed. A successful order is considered satisfied only once all work for the Referred Customer has been completed and accepted by the Referred Customer and all fees for the work have been paid in full.
- Virgin Experience Vouchers
5.1 Vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of Virgin Experience, which can be found here are subject to availability. By accepting the voucher, Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the applicable Virgin Experience terms and conditions.
5.2 Vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue in accordance with section 4.2 unless otherwise set out by Virgin.
5.3 Vouchers become invalid after 12 months if not utilised. Vouchers can be extended by contacting Virgin Experiences directly, subject to approval by Virgin Experience. Hillery & Sons takes no responsibility should a voucher become invalid.
5.4 We are not responsible for any issues or disputes howsoever arising from the use of the Virgin Experience vouchers nor for any related experience.
- Duration of the Referral Programme
6.1 The Referral Programme is valid until 1 January 2026. All referrals made prior to 31st December 2025 (T&C’s) signed by Referred Customer and deposit paid) will be honoured. Any referrals made after this date will not be eligible for the voucher.
- General Terms
7.1 This offer applies once only for each individual new Referred Customer that results in an order. This is irrespective of the number of individual orders placed by the same Referred Customer.
7.2 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Programme at any time without prior notice.
7.3 Any fraud or abuse concerning the Referral Programme may result in the immediate termination of the Participants' eligibility and the forfeiture of any earned vouchers.
7.4 We reserve the right to refuse the issue of any voucher if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity or if the terms of the Referral Programme are not met.
- Limitation of Liability
8.1 We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the Virgin Experience voucher or the Virgin Experience.
8.2 Our total liability to Customer and/or Referred Customer for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Referral Program shall not exceed £100 in aggregate.
- Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
